About me
Hi! I'm Anaís, a Spanish teacher and the creator of Ratito de ELE.
I was born in Málaga, studied the Bachelor's Degree in Translation and Interpretation at the University of Málaga, and the Master's Degree in Spanish as a Second Language at the Complutense University of Madrid.
I've been living in Poland for a few years now, and I work with students here in person and with students from all over the world online.
Methodology
In my classes, you won't feel like you're in a traditional classroom. You'll learn Spanish as if you were talking to someone you trust: naturally, in a welcoming atmosphere, and without pressure. Each session is a safe, inclusive, and judgment-free space where you can express yourself just as you are—especially if you're part of the LGBTQ+ community.
Grammar isn't something you memorize—it's something you understand and use right from the start. I always apply it to what you experience, think, or need, connecting it to real-life situations and topics that matter to you. That way, you learn in a practical way, enjoy the process, and make steady progress.

Commitment
Although my classes are relaxed and natural, I am fully committed to them. I am trained in teaching Spanish and have experience working with people from different countries, at different levels, and with different goals. I am a accredited DELE examiner and offer personalized lessons that are well-prepared and tailored to your pace. I closely monitor your progress and provide appropriate materials to help you advance and achieve your goals.

How Ratito de ELE came to be
Ratito de ELE surgió de los años que pasé en Polonia con mis ratas. Eran muy importantes para mí, y pensé que sería una buena idea nombrar así uno de mis proyectos más importantes.
The website's mascot, which also gives the site its name, is a rat, whose name comes from my three pets: Torrijas and Sernik, two adopted siblings, and Risotto, a rescued lab rat.
